| Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, USA on January 8, 1935. He is also known as "The King of rock 'n' roll, Elvis the Pelvis, The Hillbilly Cat, The King. Elvis is an American Singer that sings a Genres of pop, rockabilly, and Rock and Roll. In the 1950's Elvis made his versions of existing songs by mixing "black" and "white" sounds. His songs and his uninhibited performances in stage and televisions with his novel version music made him popular and controversial. During the 1960's Elvis made the majority of his movies. He did musicals, did live music on televisions, performed across U.S. mostly in Las Vegas throughout his career. The 70's was not quite good for the king. Although his career continued to flourish, he had other issues he had to deal with as well. Elvis divorced with Priscilla Presley in 1973. Elvis Presley became increasingly unwell, with his addiction too prescription drugs affecting his health, mood, and his stage act. During those times he also had issues with his weight and diet. Health Problems, drug dependency, and other factors led to his death on August 16, 1977 at the age of 42 in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S.A. I have been an Elvis fan since I was a kid and up to this time, my passion for Elvis has not faded over time. I am now 40 years old and still sings Elvis songs in karaoke bars, listens to his beautiful music, and watch Elvis impersonators everywhere. I guess that's how close I can get to Elvis Aaron Presley, "The King of Rock "n" Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
